Fax To Email Service

The fax to email service has become one of the most popular ways to use the otherwise antiquated method of sending a fax. The basic premise of the service is that a fax is scanned in from a fax machine or another email service that supports sending a fax and sent to a phone number that acts as an email address.
Upon receiving the document via fax, the email service takes the fax, adds it to an email as an image or attachment, and drops it into a specified email account. Different companies have different methods, but this is mostly how it works.
Imagine scanning an image with a scanner, attaching the file via PDF, JPEG, or some other image resolution format. The file is attached to an email and sent off to a recipient.
With a fax to email service, all of that is done from a standard fax machine and just attached by the service prior to delivering it to the email inbox.
